As part of promotional activity for Southampton University and their talented students, project manager Charlotte Hamilton has been pushing marketing and PR activities. Charlotte approached the West Quay shopping centre in Southampton to feature on their website and collaborate with the fashion within the shopping centre. Some great news cam through today that they want to feature the work produced on their website, creating a seasonal package which will be on the website all year round. West Quay will be creating a separate page within the fashion section to feature work similar to the work shown here.

Paddy Hartley

 Paddy Hartley held an inspirational and educational talk at Southampton Solent University today. We got an insight into his creative journey over his 20 year career. Throughout Paddy's career,  has a constant theme of investigation in his work is the way in which the human body is changed, modified and reconfigured either by choice or circumstance. His work has taken the form of installation, ceramic, assembled objects, garment creation and modification and digital embroidery. I got the chance to interview Paddy after his talk. Providing some truly inspirational anecdotes and advice on entering into the industry
